Meares Island Big Tree Trail
View some of the oldest and largest Red Cedar and Spruce trees in Canada! On this tour we take you on a short boat ride over to Meares Island where you will enjoy an unguided hike through the temperate rainforest. The 2 kilometer boardwalk usually takes people about 1 - 1 1/2 hrs. to explore. The tour includes a delightful 45 - 60 minute mini harbour cruise full of local history.Keep your eye out for a 15 foot/4.5 meter eagles nest!Departure times on demand.
