Over 40 west coast residents make up our staff team of professionals each year. We prioritize extensive certification and training for our crew and believe that safety is a daily practice. Our crew members are ticketed with SVOP, Marine First Aid, GMDSS radio operations, Marine Emergency Duties, naturalist certificates and extensive experience & training on local waters. In addition, our larger vessel operators all operate under minimum 60 tonne Masters and Restricted Engineer’s tickets.

We also hire seasonal staff each year - particularly for the summer months. We welcome staff from all around the world and value the diversity that other languages and cultures add to our day-to-day operations.  Jamie's staff have attested that working here is a great way to experience life on the west coast, and to be part of a supportive team of locals who love what they do!
