**UPDATE January 28th - Hot Springs Cove (Maquinna Provincial Park) is closed until mid-February**
Due to damage from fallen trees after the December wind storm, BC Parks have extended their closure of the Hot Springs Cove for maintenance. Since we will not be able to offer Hot Springs tours, our office will be closed until mid-February, unless the park opens sooner. We will continue responding to inquiries during this closure via email and phone, and you may complete reservations online for our regular season. We wish you a wonderful start to 2019, and will see you again in February.
Boat one way and fly the other!
Enjoy all the exciting features of our traditional Hot Springs Cove adventure except your departure or return will be on board an authentic west coast plane. The scenic flight from Tofino to the Hot Springs Cove is approximately 15 minutes long and arrives/departs at the seaplane dock, just a leisurely 10 minute walk from our Tofino office.
Please note that since you are spending less time on the water, the Sea & Sky option can reduce your chances of seeing wildlife.
Return to the office after your tour and warm up with a complimentary coffee, tea or hot chocolate, the perfect opportunity to show off your photos and share your experience!

What to bring:
-Warm clothes for the boat ride.
-Comfortable walking shoes for the trail.
-Swimsuit and towel.
-Full lunch & beverages (no glass please). There is no fresh-water drinking source available.
-Although not necessary, water shoes, sandals or old running shoes are recommended if you have them. Hot Springs Cove is left quite natural - a waterfall feeding into small pools in the rocky headlands. The terrain is rocky and can often be slippery.
-Sunscreen, sunglasses, binoculars, camera, hat, etc. (weather dependent).
-A backpack or tote bag to comfortably carry your belongings.
-A watch or timepiece so you can be back at the dock in time to meet the boat for the trip back to Tofino.
-There are two composting toilet facilities -- one at the beginning of the trail, and another at the Hot Springs.
-A change room is available and provides a dry place to leave your belongings in rainy conditions.
-There are no stores or facilities to purchase items at Hot Springs Cove, so come prepared for a 6-hour adventure.
-There is no garbage pick-up at the park, so anything you bring with you must also be packed out with you.
-The Hot Springs are naturally sulfurous, so expect a natural aroma.
-Jewelry worn in the springs may tarnish in reaction to the spring water. Although it's easily polished again afterward, some find it easier to remove it beforehand.
