Wayne and Catherine created their off-grid floating paradise more than 30 years ago. As artists, they have created not only a self-sufficient lifestyle from mostly recycled materials but have also created an installation art piece that transforms in some way each and every year.

It was always Catherine’s dream to be able to grow as much of her food as possible so her organic gardens include vegetables, herbs, edible and decorative flowers, and shrubs.
They invite people to come and see what they have created. They hope to inspire others to follow their dreams and live a lifestyle that brings them joy and contentment, while living in harmony with the planet.

Travel through the stunning landscapes of Barkley Sound, weave in and out of the spectacular Broken Group Islands, looking out for whales and other wildlife on the way to Bamfield: picturesque boardwalk town with wild beaches, rich history and freshly caught cuisine.
